How do I set up my account alert settings?

Customize your alert settings to ensure you can quickly identify and prevent potential unauthorized activity.

Start by logging in on your desktop web browser at login.oldglorybank.com or via the mobile app on your device. If you have not yet downloaded our mobile app, please visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Login with the same credentials you chose when you established your account. 

To set up Alert Settings on your desktop:

  • In the Menu bar that runs vertically along the lefthand navigation, click Settings.
  • Under the Messages & Alerts section at the top, click Alert Settings
  • On the Alert Settings page, scroll down to Security Alerts
  • You may enable 18 different security alerts and notifications* using the toggle switch on the right hand column next to each alert type. (Alert Setting options are outlined in greater detail below.)
  • You may Edit Delivery Preferences to change the email address and/or mobile number at which you wish to receive alerts.

To set up Alert Settings through the mobile app:

  • Click the Menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen; click Settings once the menu bar appears.
  • Under the Messages & Alerts section at the top, click Alert Settings
  • You may enable 18 different security alerts and notifications* using the toggle switch on the right hand column next to each alert type. (Alert Setting options are outlined in greater detail below.)
  • You may Edit Delivery Preferences to change the email address and/or mobile number at which you wish to receive alerts.

Alert Settings options available on both your desktop and mobile app include the following: 

  • You may Edit Delivery Preferences. Select whether you want to receive email, phone, or text notifications. Use this page to change the email address or mobile number at which you wish to receive alerts.
  • You may also elect to receive notifications for the following:
    • Authorization of an external transfer;
    • Registration of a new computer/browser;
    • Addition of an external account;
    • Security concerns including submission of invalid passwords, unsuccessful forgotten password attempts, invalid secure access code attempts, disabled or locked out username, as well as successful password attempts, forgotten password attempts, and secure access code submissions.
  • Old Glory Bank automatically enables notifications for the following:
    • Changes to password, secure access code contact information, username, and security alert preferences;
    • Attempts to retrieve a forgotten password; 
    • Creation of a new user; and 
    • Updates to your user profile. 
    • Note: The lighter gray text with the blue check denotes the automatic notifications.
  • HINT: If a notification is enabled, the bubble is blue with a checkmark. 
  • If a notification is not enabled, the bubble is gray with an X. To enable a notification, click the button itself or the text to the left of the button. 
  • To create a custom New Alert, click the New Alert button in the upper right corner. (Note: The blue button will turn red when your arrow hovers over it on the desktop app.) Once you click, a dropdown will appear to set up notifications for Account Alert, History Alert, Online Transaction Alert, and Reminders.
    • Account Alert allows you to set up notifications by account based on the frequency or transaction specifications you designate.
    • History Alert allows you to set up notifications based on transaction type (credit, debit, check, etc.) and amount. 
    • Online Transaction Alert allows you to set up notifications based on account transactions (change of address, external transfer, or funds transfer) and status. 

Reminders function as a calendar by allowing you to set up alerts for birthdays, anniversaries, important meetings, etc. 

*Alerts are not in real-time; there may be a delay between when transactions occur and when you receive an alert. Delivery times of daily alerts, such as daily balance notifications, may vary according to your time zone.
