Can I use Quicken, Mint or other financial software with my Old Glory Bank accounts?

At Old Glory Bank’s launch, our accounts will not directly integrate with major accounting software such as Quicken, but you may be able to access your accounts through many popular financial aggregators.

Quicken and some other financial management software require a “web connect” or “direct connect” function to interface with your Old Glory Bank account, which we are not able to offer at this time.

Old Glory Bank’s account access via website or mobile app offers our helpful Budget and Planning Tools which allow customers to take control of their money by planning monthly budgets, monitoring trends and cash flow, calculating net worth, and tracking debt. You may even add accounts outside of Old Glory Bank to have a view of your entire financial picture in one space.

In addition, customers always have the option to download their Old Glory Bank transactions for import into the software program of their choice. To download transactions, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account access via a desktop browser.
  2. Click on your Freedom Spending or Freedom Savings account.
  3. Click the Export icon and choose the file type required by your software.
  4. Choose your download location on your desktop and click Save.
  5. Follow your software program’s instructions for importing the file.

Many cloud-based financial aggregators* use Plaid to validate account ownership, and may connect to your Old Glory Bank accounts. Old Glory Bank is not able to offer technical support on these connections, nor are we able to guarantee the connections at any time.

*As of the date this article was published, Mint users have requested that Old Glory Bank be added to their list of financial institutions, but Mint has not yet responded or resolved the request. Old Glory Bank has also requested to be added to Every Dollar and we are told that is in process. We have not been given an estimated completion date.

We will keep customers updated as we continue to add features to our banking platform.
