We knew credit cards were desired by many of our customers, and it was important to make a credit card available as quickly as possible. Building our own underwriting and dispute team, which will ensure that our customers have the first-rate experience they have come to expect from Old Glory Bank, will take over a year.
To bridge this gap, and to ensure we have the best features available anywhere, including cash-back rewards, we have partnered with a specialty provider of credit cards, Fifth Third Bank. Our credit card will still proudly display our patriotic Old Glory Bank logo. We doubt that you will even notice that Fifth Third Bank is helping Old Glory Bank with this underwriting process, and we wanted to be transparent about our partnership. If you apply for one of our credit card options, a credit check from Fifth Third Bank will appear on your credit report.
