Is it safe to use my Old Glory Bank debit card?

Your Old Glory Bank Debit Card is generally as safe as a credit card unless you ignore your account and let the fraud linger (which you should never do). If you notify us within 2 business days of your debit card being lost or stolen or within 2 business days of someone using your debit card fraudulently, you are generally responsible for only the first $50 (just like most credit cards). If you don't notify us within the first 2 business days and wait up to 60 days (which you should never do), then you are generally responsible for only the first $500 (just like most credit cards). If you completely ignore the fraud and never inform us, you may be responsible for the total loss, so don't let that happen. Please stay aware of your account activity.
One of the reasons why we LOVE our Old Glory Bank technology is because you get notified on your phone (and your smartwatch, if you choose) each time your Old Glory Bank debit card is used. Thus, you should never be surprised about a fraudulent charge. If, for some reason, you don't have your phone alerts turned on (we strongly recommend that you do), then simply go into our Card Manager feature within your Old Glory Bank App and look at your card activity. Not only does our great technology show you each charge, but it also shows you the merchant's logo and the location. Thus, you should always be clear about whether you made a charge.
Also, please remember that you can easily turn your Old Glory Bank Debit Card "on and off" in our Card Manager feature, so that if you leave behind your debit card somewhere safe, you can turn it "off" until you retrieve it. That way, you don't need to cancel your debit card and get a replacement card (unless it's actually lost or stolen). Just wait until it's back in your possession, and then turn it back on.
You can use your Old Glory Bank Debit Card with confidence, so make a statement and proudly use your Old Glory Bank Debit Card everywhere!
