How do I add Authorized Users to my Business Account?

Adding Authorized Users to your business account is easy. Our “Users” feature allows you to customize permissions for each authorized user, granting access only to those features you allow. This internal control supports best practices by allocating permissions based on job responsibilities and by creating checks and balances for your business.

IMPORTANT: Whenever you make changes to your authorized users, you must click “SAVE” for the changes to take effect. If you don’t click “SAVE”, your new permissions will not be updated.

To Add an Authorized User to Your Business Account:

  • From the home page of your business account, click “Business Banking.”
  • Select “Users” from the drop-down.
  • Click the “Add User” tile.

IMPORTANT: Make note of the username and temporary password you assign to your new user; you will provide this login information to your new user.

  • Fill out the new user details.
  • Click “Save New User Details.”
  • Provide the new user with the username and temporary password. This information will not be provided by Old Glory Bank.

NOTE: The default setting is that all features are Enabled for a user when added.

To edit Authorized User privileges:

  • Click on “Business Banking.”
  • Click on “Users” in the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the pencil icon to the right of the user you would like to edit.
  • Click on Assign Rights on the bottom right to edit privileges (You can also click on “edit status” to activate/deactivate a user or “Delete” to remove a user).
  • Under “Transactions,” click on a tile and switch the toggle from Enabled to Disabled to turn off any features you would not like this user to have. For enabled features, you may also specify limits within some features.
  • Under “Features,” you can customize management features.
  • Under “Accounts,” specify permissions and restrictions to interact with your accounts.
  • Click “Save” at the bottom right to save your changes.

Your Authorized User will have access to your account via online and mobile banking via their own User ID and Password, as determined by you during the set-up process. You are also responsible for immediately revoking access when you no longer wish to authorize this other person to access your account.

Your Authorized User will not have access to Customer Service. Old Glory Bank cannot assist the Authorized User via phone or e-mail. Please contact us to assist your authorized user with any password resets or any other online banking needs.

Do not permit someone to be an Authorized User unless you trust this person to not misappropriate your funds. You are 100% responsible for the actions of your Authorized User. For example, if your Authorized User undertakes a banking transaction that you do not approve, there will be no remedy from Old Glory Bank and no liability to Old Glory Bank.
